Hearse Poem

scary stories.jpg

I loved reading the Scary Stories books as a kid.

I still read them now as a crusty, old adult.

They're excellent stories - frightening and fascinating.

I'm someone that has always enjoyed horror stories.

I read the popular Fangoria & Gorezone magazines for years.  Nightmare on Elm Street was my favorite horror film.  Probably that is why I was nicknamed = Freddy = in grammar school = I love the classic horror legends!!

Don’t ever laugh when a hearse goes by, or you may be the next to die.

They wrap you up in a big white sheet, from your head down to your feet.

The worms crawl in , the worms crawl out.

The worms play pinochle on your snout.

They eat your eyes, they eat your nose.

They eat the jelly between your toes.

They put you in a big black box, and cover it up with dirt and rocks.

All goes well for about a week, and then your coffin begins to leak.

A big green worm with rolling eyes, crawls in your stomach and out your eyes.

Your stomach turns a slimy green, and puss comes out like whipping cream.

You spread it on a slice of bread,

and that's what you eat when you are dead.

There is nothing wrong with the strange and unusual!
