Every time you turn on the TV, read the newspaper, or check the pop-up news updates on your phone, you see evidence that many of the people on this planet have lost their minds.
Why?
Is it because of the new technology? Is it because there are too many people? Is it because of economic hardship?
Or have aliens finally taken over our minds and they are enjoying manipulating us by making us behave like insane people?
I can't help wandering what is wrong with humanity these days.
Most things have not changed. We have the haves and have-nots still. We have good people and we have horrible people. Life is still not fair.
So why has violence increased? Why are people more hateful? Why do people lash out more at their neighbors?
Since I am a religious person, I wonder if the fall of many religions has caused this decline in humanity. The bible has been banned from the schools so the next generation is not exposed to the simple right and wrong teachings of Christianity. Maybe this is why there is so much unrest in our country.
I think back to what was around in the 80's and 90's. Those decades were not perfect by any means but they were better in a lot of ways than what we have right now. We've advanced in many ways and we've deteriorated in other ways. I miss what we've lost.
I laugh when I see people going back to the old vinyl records. Apparently, there are many that want the old days back again.
It's sad when all we want is a time machine so we can have the good old days again = even for just a little while. I've found myself watching old films more often than new films just so I can watch how it used to be in the old days. It's like a time capsule.
All I can suggest to everyone is =
focus on good things and try to block the bad things
enjoy nature and avoid stress
have faith = things can't stay crappy
simple pleasures will make you feel better = Ex: walk a dog, eat ice cream, soak in a hot bathtub
Take care,

I agree. I am nostalgic for the slower pace of life. Something bad is always happening in the world and the media does the doom and gloom thing to the max.
